Union Sues Boss Ahead of Election

Law360 (January 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Members of one of Illinois’ most powerful unions claim they were forced to pay the boss $100 a week as part of a so-called salary kickback scheme.

Ostensibly created as a “Christmas” fund with the spoils to be shared equally, six members of Local 150 of the International Union of Operating Engineers allege the president kept the cash for himself.
