Slaughter, Freshfields Revise Associate Pay

Law360, New York (May 7, 2010, 5:00 PM EDT) -- U.K. firm Slaughter and May has unfrozen associate salaries and tightened up differences between its pay levels, while fellow Magic Circle firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP has reportedly handed out raises to three levels of associates, in a sign that firms are beginning to relax the purse strings.
