Novartis Fingers 'Rogue Male' Workers In Closing Args.

Law360, New York (May 10, 2010, 6:32 PM EDT) -- A lawyer for Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp. made closing arguments in a $200 million discrimination suit brought on behalf of female sales employees Monday, asserting that plaintiffs have shown, at best, only isolated instances of inappropriate behavior.

Vedder Price PC shareholder Richard H. Schnadig spoke to the court in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, contending that some of the plaintiffs’ 13 witnesses may have lied, noting conflicting testimony from other parties who spoke on behalf of the defense.
