IBM, BGC Spar Over Trading System Software Rights

Law360, New York (May 10, 2010, 7:21 PM EDT) -- Lawyers for IBM Corp. and electronic securities brokerage firm BGC Partners Inc. squared off before a judge Monday in a software copyright infringement suit, with BGC asserting that it has licensed the software under a decades-old contract and that IBM may be harming its trading participants.
