Pampers Diapers Gave Babies Rashes, Burns: Suit

Law360, New York (May 12, 2010, 1:57 PM EDT) -- Customers who bought certain Pampers diapers have filed a product liability putative class action against Procter & Gamble Co., accusing the consumer goods giant of making diapers that harmed babies by causing rashes, blisters and chemical burns.

The suit, lodged Thursday by seven named plaintiffs including Angela Clark in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, seeks costs for treating babies harmed by the products, damages and an order forcing the company to fix problems that caused the alleged injuries.
