Stainless Steel Dumping Orders To Remain In Place

Law360, New York (May 14, 2010, 4:05 PM EDT) -- Anti-dumping duties will remain in place for at least another five years for stainless steel wire rod imports from Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain and Taiwan, the U.S. International Trade Commission announced Friday.

In a split decision, the commission ruled that revoking the duties, which have been in place since 1998, would lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury for U.S. domestic producers, the commission said in a statement.
