High Court Lets Dismissal Of Conoco Oil Plot Suit Stand

Law360, New York (May 17, 2010, 1:08 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to weigh in on the dismissal of a case accusing ConocoPhillips Co. of stealing data and colluding with corrupt Indonesian government officials in a scheme that netted the energy giant $50 billion in oil and natural gas reserves in the Malay Archipelago.

The high court on Monday declined to grant certiorari to plaintiff Oceanic Exploration Co. Representatives for the parties could not immediately be reached for comment.
