Nestle Strikes Deal In Frozen Dinner Trademark Feud

Law360, New York (May 20, 2010, 1:32 PM EDT) -- The maker of Michael Angelo’s brand of frozen Italian dinners has resolved its suit against rival Nestle USA Inc., dropping allegations that Nestle’s Buitoni line of pastas infringes a trademark.

Judge Sam Sparks of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas dismissed the suit Monday after plaintiff Bottom Line Food Processors Inc. reached a settlement with Nestle, with each side agreeing to cover its own costs.
