Liability Claimants Lodge Appeal Over GM Sale

Law360, New York (May 18, 2010, 1:06 PM EDT) -- A number of product liability claimants have appealed a finding that a bankruptcy judge was right to allow General Motors LLC to buy the assets of bankrupt “Old GM” free and clear of their tort claims.

Callan Campbell and four other claimants filed a notice Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York that they are taking their case to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
