Tribune Must Update Ch. 11 Plan Before Vote: Judge

Law360, New York (May 20, 2010, 6:33 PM EDT) -- The Tribune Co. has been given interim approval to send its reorganization plan to creditors for a vote, but the company must first resolve certain issues in its disclosure statement, a bankruptcy judge reportedly ruled Thursday.

Judge Kevin Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware gave the beleaguered media company a week to make the changes, including allowing the plan's critics to include two-page letters, Reuters reported Thursday.
