The Fray, Ex-Manager Settle $3M Publishing Deal Spat

Law360, New York (May 21, 2010, 4:11 PM EDT) -- Alternative rock quartet The Fray has reached a settlement with former manager Gregg Latterman over claims that Latterman's company earned nearly $3 million through undisclosed deals with the band's publishing company.

The stipulation, reached Wednesday after a 14-hour settlement conference, will be finalized in early June, according to court documents filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and attorneys for the band declined to comment Friday. A lawyer for Latterman, meanwhile, did not immediately return...
