Hollinger Defendants To Be Tried Together

Law360, New York (January 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A district court judge has ruled that all four former executives implicated in the accounting scandal at newspaper conglomerate Hollinger Inc. will be tried together in a trial set to begin in March.

Despite the protests of some of the defendants, Judge Amy St. Eve has ruled that Hollinger founder Conrad Black, chief financial officer John Boultbee, former vice president Peter Atkinson and ex-general counsel Mark Kipnis will face the jury together.
