Post Office, Unions Settle Medical Records Spat

Law360, New York (May 24, 2010, 7:31 PM EDT) -- Two unions representing postal employees have settled a suit against the U.S. Postal Service over its alleged illegal accessing of employees' medical records.

The National Association of Letter Carriers and the American Postal Workers Union, both members of the AFL-CIO, received a judge's order Friday approving the settlement and dismissing the case in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
