Wyeth Seeks $1.3M In Wholesaler Recall Refund Spat

Law360, New York (May 26, 2010, 7:22 PM EDT) -- Wyeth LLC has slapped QK Healthcare Inc. with a breach of contract suit, accusing the wholesale pharmaceutical distributor of withholding more than $1.3 million in payments based on fraudulent claims for a product recall reimbursement.

The complaint — filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York — alleges that QKH has not paid Wyeth the bulk of what it is owed for the more than $2 million worth of prescription drugs it shipped to the wholesaler in June.
