Morgan Lewis Wins Fee Approval For Chemtura Probe

Law360, New York (May 26, 2010, 7:07 PM EDT) -- A judge overseeing Chemtura Corp.'s bankruptcy has allowed Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP to be paid for investigating possible money laundering or other illegal activity associated with a customer incentive program at the specialty chemical firm, despite concerns that the fee request was too vague.

Judge Robert E. Gerber issued a ruling Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York approving the request of about $860,000 in fees and expenses for work associated with the probe, $10,000 less than initially sought...
