USPTO Affirms Abbott Protein Patent In War With Yeda

Law360, New York (May 27, 2010, 1:59 PM EDT) -- Abbott GmbH & Co. KG has cemented its victory in a 14-year-old dispute with Yeda Research & Development Co. Ltd. over a patent for a tumor necrosis factor protein, winning recognition that one of its patent applications is the earliest reference to the protein, which is used in autoimmune therapies.
