Judge OKs Class In Dendreon Securities Suit

Law360, New York (May 28, 2010, 3:57 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has granted class certification to investors that sued Dendreon Corp. for allegedly deceiving them about the approval process for the biotechnology company's prostate cancer drug Provenge.

Judge Marsha J. Pechman on Thursday approved the plaintiffs' motion to certify the class in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, saying the group would be made up of anyone who bought Dendreon common stock between March 29 and May 8, 2007.
