Calif. Appeals Court Revives Ford, Cooper Suit

Law360, New York (May 27, 2010, 6:29 PM EDT) -- A California appellate court has reversed a decision to dismiss a suit over a fatal accident brought against Ford Motor Co. and Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., saying a lower court erred in finding that the case should be litigated in Mexico.

A three-judge panel of the California Court of Appeal Second Appellate District said Thursday that the suit brought following a 2006 fatal accident should be revived.
