AT&T, Cisco, Others Face Suit Over Network Patents

Law360, New York (May 28, 2010, 10:57 AM EDT) -- AT&T Inc., Cisco Systems Inc., Motorola Inc., Broadcom Corp. and nearly two dozen other technology companies have been accused of infringing five patents related to digital networks.

Atwater Partners of Texas LLC filed suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, seeking a permanent injunction preventing the companies from continuing to infringe the patents and a declaration the case is exceptional, allowing the plaintiff to recoup attorneys' fees.
