WaMu Faces New Round Of Disclosure Objections

Law360, New York (June 1, 2010, 2:54 PM EDT) -- A slew of objections has poured in against Washington Mutual Inc.'s latest disclosure statement, many taking issue with a global settlement the bank reached with new owner JPMorgan Chase & Co. and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.

One objection, filed Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware by a group of bondholders, said WaMu's disclosure statement for its second amended reorganization plan continued to suffer from many of the same deficiencies as the disclosure statement for its original plan.
