Hospital Takes Angioplasty Antitrust Fight To 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (June 2, 2010, 1:11 PM EDT) -- Washington state's Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital has appealed the dismissal of a suit claiming the Evergreen State's restrictions on the number of hospitals that can provide elective angioplasties violate federal competition law.

Memorial lodged its notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday, fighting the May 25 dismissal of its suit against the Washington State Department of Health.
