Sales Scam Earns Ex-ClearOne Boss 4 Years In Jail

Law360, New York (June 2, 2010, 6:40 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has sentenced former ClearOne Communications Inc. CEO Frances Flood to four years in prison for nine counts of securities violations in connection with a scheme to misrepresent the strength of her company, attorneys have confirmed.

A lawyer for Flood said his client plans to appeal the ruling, rendered Wednesday by Judge Dee Benson in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah.
