Kirkland, Fenwick Advise On $717M SonicWALL Buy

Law360, New York (June 3, 2010, 2:44 PM EDT) -- A group of investors led by private equity fund Thoma Bravo LLC and the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan have agreed to pay roughly $717 million to acquire information technology security and data backup provider SonicWALL Inc.

The investors said they would pay $11.50 per share, representing a 28 percent premium over the company's most recent stock price, SonicWALL said in a filing Thursday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
