New York Utilities Challenge FERC’s Jurisdiction

Law360 (January 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a case that could clarify the line between state and federal utility regulation, a handful of New York power companies have asked the Supreme Court to decide if a so-called monthly netting policy unlawfully extends the jurisdiction of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
