Hyundai Plaintiffs Ask Court To OK Clutch Defect Deal

Law360, New York (June 7, 2010, 5:24 PM EDT) -- Plaintiffs have asked a federal court to give its final approval to an agreement that would settle a class action against Hyundai Motor America Inc. over allegedly defective clutches on its 2003 Tiburons.

If approved, the deal would see a potential 32,000 class members have their repair bills reimbursed, according to a plaintiffs' motion for final approval filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
