WilmerHale Atty Drops Schlumberger Post Over BP Ties

Law360, New York (June 7, 2010, 6:58 PM EDT) -- A WilmerHale partner has resigned from the board of oil field services giant Schlumberger Ltd., citing her firm's representation of BP PLC in connection with the Deepwater Horizon rig disaster.

Schlumberger said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday that Jamie Gorelick notified the company Thursday that she was resigning immediately from the board.
