Ex-DuPont Chemist Cops To Theft Of OLED Secrets

Law360, New York (June 8, 2010, 5:02 PM EDT) -- A former chemist for DuPont Co. faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty Tuesday to stealing trade secrets from the company while researching organic light-emitting diodes.

Hong Meng, 43, waived indictment and entered a plea agreement for one count of theft of trade secrets in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. The plea could lead to a 10-year sentence, a fine of up to $250,000 and restitution, U.S. Attorney David C. Weiss said Tuesday.
