More Prison Time Issued In Concrete Price-Fixing

Law360, New York (January 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Another prison sentence has been handed down in the Indiana ready-mix concrete price-fixing scandal, with the former president of Builder’s Concrete and Supply Co. becoming the latest executive to be hit with a 14-month sentence.

On Friday, U.S. District Judge Larry McKinney ordered Gus "Butch" Nuckols III to serve more than a year in prison and fork over a $50,000 fine for his purported misdeeds.

Nuckols, who pled guilty in March, must also spend a year on supervised release upon completing his sentence, according to the...
