ITC Says China PC Strand Imports Hurt US Industry

Law360, New York (June 10, 2010, 7:14 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has determined that imports of prestressed concrete steel wire strand from China are harming the U.S. industry, paving the way for the U.S. Department of Commerce to assign anti-dumping and countervailing duties on the product.

All six commissioners voted in favor of a finding of material injury, the ITC said Thursday, following Commerce's determination that Chinese producers and exporters had been dumping the product in domestic markets at significantly less than normal value.
