US Takes Ex-Tenet GC Medicare Spat To 11th Circ.

Law360, New York (June 14, 2010, 3:27 PM EDT) -- The federal government is appealing a judge's decision to throw out a lawsuit alleging the former general counsel of Tenet Healthcare Corp. violated the False Claims Act by signing off on millions of dollars of improper Medicare payments.
