Optics Part Maker Fabrinet Launches $119M IPO Deal

Law360, New York (June 14, 2010, 2:08 PM EDT) -- Optics components manufacturer Fabrinet Inc. is launching a long-awaited initial public offering seeking to raise as much as $119 million despite continuing political unrest in Thailand, where many of the company’s operations are based.

Fabrinet announced its plans for the offering in filings submitted Monday to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, stating that the company would issue up to 2.8 million shares as part of the deal in addition to another 5.7 million shares that would be sold by existing owners.
