Ampex Sues Sony Over Digital Camera Patents

Law360 (July 13, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Ampex has filed complaints against Japanese electronics maker Sony in a U.S. district court and with the U.S. International Trade Commission over patents for digital cameras and handheld devices that can store pictures.

The ITC complaint seeks to block the importation of Sony devices that Ampex claims infringe its U.S. patents.
