Ex-Mayer Brown Atty Settles SEC Refco Fraud Claims

Law360, New York (June 14, 2010, 5:13 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has approved a settlement between former Mayer Brown LLP partner Joseph P. Collins and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission over the ex-lawyer’s role in helping to facilitate a $2.4 billion fraud scheme that brought down brokerage giant Refco Inc.
