Judge Refuses To Toss Aredia Plaintiffs

Law360, New York (January 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has ruled against a motion to dismiss the cases of three plaintiffs in a class action against pharmaceutical company Novartis, after complaints by the drug maker that the trio had missed a court filing deadline.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Joe B. Brown, of the District Court of Nashville, Tennessee said Friday the three had shown sufficient cause why their cases should not be dropped, finding they had good reason to be tardy in filing court papers.
