Commerce Nixes Duties On Chinese Paintbrushes

Law360, New York (June 16, 2010, 4:34 PM EDT) -- With domestic companies expressing a lack of interest in the matter, the U.S. Department of Commerce is set to revoke anti-dumping duty orders on certain paintbrushes from China, according to a notice published in the Federal Register on Wednesday.

Commerce's International Trade Administration said it planned to end anti-dumping duties for natural bristle paintbrushes and paintbrush heads from China, but it is inviting interested parties to comment on the preliminary results of its findings.
