FDA Launches Data-Sharing System For New Drugs

Law360, New York (June 16, 2010, 12:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has launched a new system to share safety data on recently approved drugs and biologics with consumers and health care providers.

The agency announced Tuesday that summaries of FDA safety reviews on recently approved products will now be posted on the agency's website, as well as a description of steps being taken to address any potential safety issues.
