USPTO-POPA Propose New Patent Examiner Rules

Law360, New York (June 16, 2010, 4:47 PM EDT) -- A task force composed of U.S. Patent and Trademark Office management and representatives of the Patent Office Professional Association has come up with a series of recommendations for increasing the quality and efficiency of patent examination that, if approved, would mark the first major revision to the patent examiners' performance appraisal plan in 25 years.
