Judge Lets Al-Qaida Donors Off Hook In 9/11 MDL

Law360, New York (June 18, 2010, 6:23 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has granted dismissal to more than three dozen foreign defendants — including relatives of Osama bin Laden — in a case accusing them of donating funds later funneled to the group behind the Sept. 11 attacks, finding that the court did not have specific jurisdiction over them.
