DOC Keeps Ball Bearing Duties On French Co. SNR

Law360, New York (June 21, 2010, 3:42 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has determined that SNR Roulements SA should continue to pay the same duty rate on ball bearings and parts from France even though more than half the company has been acquired by NTN Bearing Corp. of America.

The agency said Friday it continued to find that post-acquisition SNR is the successor in interest to pre-acquisition SNR, and as a result, should receive the same treatment.
