ITA Rescinds Plastic Bag Duty Review For Thai Co.

Law360, New York (June 18, 2010, 4:55 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has elected to drop part of its anti-dumping review of polyethylene retail carrier bags from Thailand based on the petitioners' withdrawal of its request for a review of the duties on Landblue (Thailand) Co. Ltd.'s imports.

The agency's International Trade Administration announced in a notice published Friday in the Federal Register that it would partially rescind its administrative review of the anti-dumping duty order on bags imported from Thailand between Aug. 1, 2008, through July 31, 2009, for Thai-based Landblue only....
