Jenkens Sues Two Attorneys Over Forgent Patent Project

Law360, New York (July 13, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Jenkens & Gilchrist is asking a Texas state court to prevent two of its former attorneys from disclosing "trade secrets and confidential information" about a patent licensing project believed to involve Forgent Networks.

The lawsuit, filed in the 162nd District Court in Dallas, alleges that Stuart D. Dwork and Roger Maxwell "drafted and threatened to file legal papers" that would cause "substantial harm" to the firm and an unnamed client, which is believed to be Forgent Networks.
