Matsushita Electric Settles Patent Suit Vs. Cinram

Law360, New York (July 14, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Japanese electronics maker Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd. has settled a patent-infringement suit against DVD-maker Cinram International Inc. regarding some of Matsushita's DVD patents.

Under terms of the settlement, Cinram will pay an undisclosed amount to the Japanese company in exchange for use of Matsushita's DVD replication patents.
