Apple Gets More Time To Respond In iPhone Suit

Law360, New York (February 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Delaying their battle over the iPhone trademark, Apple Inc. and Cisco Systems Inc. have agreed Apple will have more time to respond to Cisco's infringement lawsuit so the pair can mull over trademark rights and interoperability.

The companies announced the delay on Wednesday when Cisco filed a stipulation giving Apple until Feb. 15 to respond to the legal challenge in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
