Ark. Plant To Sell Electricity Despite Permit Rejection

Law360, New York (June 25, 2010, 4:36 PM EDT) -- The Arkansas Supreme Court has decided not to re-analyze a decision in which it rejected a permit for Southwestern Electric Power Co.'s partially constructed coal-fired power plant, but the company has vowed to complete the facility anyway and sell the electricity out of state.
