ITC Finds China Subsidized Steel Grating Imports

Law360, New York (June 25, 2010, 2:02 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has ruled that imports of certain steel grating from China injured U.S. producers, clearing the way for the U.S. Department of Commerce to set anti-dumping and countervailing duties.

The unanimous decision by the ITC Thursday that domestic producers have been hurt by the imports came after Commerce issued a final ruling earlier in June finding that the imports are being sold in the U.S. for less than fair value and unfairly subsidized by the Chinese government.
