2nd Circ. Affirms FedEx Win In Couriers' Age Bias Suit

Law360, New York (June 24, 2010, 7:30 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a district court's decision granting FedEx Corp. summary judgment against 12 couriers that accused the company of age discrimination, closing the latest chapter in an eight-year-old case that reached the U.S. Supreme Court in 2008.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ruled Thursday that none of the plaintiffs had presented convincing evidence that they were discharged or discriminated against for age-related reasons.
