Couple Fails To Revive DVF, Greenberg Search Suit

Law360, New York (June 24, 2010, 7:48 PM EDT) -- A couple who accused Greenberg Traurig LLP and the firm’s fashion label client Diane Von Furstenberg Studio of abusing their search warrant privileges in connection with a counterfeiting case have lost their appeal of an October ruling dismissing their suit.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit issued a brief ruling Thursday finding that there was “no reversible error” in the district court’s determination that plaintiffs Catherine and Richard Snyder’s claims were barred by the doctrine of claim preclusion.
