Leahy Says Bilski Exemplifies Patent Law Problems

Law360, New York (June 28, 2010, 3:12 PM EDT) -- Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., on Monday voiced concerns that the sprawling opinion issued by the U.S. Supreme Court in Bilski v. Kappos failed to resolve the real issue with business method patents, possibly spawning unnecessary litigation unless Congress acts.
