Technip To Pay $338M To End DOJ, SEC Bribery Cases

Law360, New York (June 28, 2010, 4:27 PM EDT) -- Technip SA agreed Monday to pay $338 million in criminal and civil penalties to settle charges that it worked with former Halliburton Co. subsidiary KBR Inc. to bribe the Nigerian government in order to win $6 billion in contracts to build liquefied natural gas facilities in the country.
