2nd Circ. Remands Chilean Fruit Export Suit Over FSIA

Law360, New York (June 29, 2010, 1:58 PM EDT) -- In the wake of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision, a federal appeals court has remanded a decade-old dispute over fruit exports because Chilean government officials are no longer immune from prosecution under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act — but could still be immune under common law.
